Storefront
Your business card, but it actually saves to phones.
Hand someone a paper business card and 80% of the time it ends up in a drawer. A WhatsMenu vCard is a shareable profile page — photo, contact, gallery, services, hours, social — with a QR code on it and a one-tap "Save to contacts" button. Print the QR on real cards, share the link in chat, or attach it to an email signature.
What it does
Each owner, staff member, or referrer gets their own vCard at /vcard/{your-alias} on your storefront. The page carries their photo, name and job title, contact info, social links, business hours, a gallery of up to 6 images, an optional YouTube cover video, a map pin, and cards for selected services and products that link back to your storefront. Pick from 30+ ready-made templates — the layout, colors, and typography change per vCard without you touching any code.
Who it's for
Service-business owners and teams who network in person — real estate agents, financial advisors, insurance brokers, consultants, lawyers, doctors, contractors. Also: showcase merchants whose business card is the entry point to their full storefront. Less useful for purely walk-in retail where customers don't need a personal contact.
How it works
- Enable vCard in Settings > Apps. Each user account (owner, staff, referrer) can then have a vCard attached from its profile page.
- Fill in the details once — photo, contact, social, gallery, services, template. The QR code is generated automatically and points to the vCard URL.
- Share the link in chat, in an email signature, or print the QR on a card or display stand. When someone scans, they land on the page and can tap "Save to contacts" to download a .vcf into their phone's address book.
When to use it
Use a vCard whenever your business depends on personal trust and direct contact — real estate, healthcare, professional services, B2B sales. The storefront is the public-facing catalog; a vCard is the personal-introduction surface tied to a specific person on your team.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work without internet?
The QR code scan needs internet (it loads the vCard page). Once the visitor taps "Save to contacts", the contact details are written to their phone's address book and stay there offline.
Can I have more than one vCard per business?
Yes — each staff member or referrer can have their own, one per user account. Useful for sales teams, multi-doctor clinics, or any business where customers want to reach a specific person.
Can I update my vCard without reprinting QR codes?
Yes — the QR code points to your vCard URL, which always shows the latest content. Edit once and every printed card, email signature, and shared link picks up the new details.
How does "Save to contacts" work, and what data ends up on the phone?
The button serves a standard .vcf file with name, job title, company, phone, email, address, and a link back to the vCard page. The phone's contacts app prompts to save it. The photo isn't embedded in the .vcf, but the linked vCard URL keeps it one tap away whenever the contact looks you up later.
Can I change the look of my vCard?
Yes — pick from 30+ bundled templates per vCard (different layouts, colors, typography). The default is a custom WhatsMenu design; switching templates changes the entire look without re-entering any data. Fully-custom template files aren't user-editable, but the bundled set covers professional, gallery-heavy, and minimal styles.
